Description

Analog Discovery Studio is a full-featured portable test and measurement device that, combined with WaveForms software, gives you 13 tools such as an oscilloscope, waveform generator, programmable power supply, voltmeter, data logger, logic analyzer, waveform generator, spectrum analyzer and more. It is a good learning platform for students or pupils. Matlab support in the form of Data Acquisition Toolbox is available to allow configuration of data acquisition and recording.

Two analog input signals via BNC or MTE connectors and 16 digital channels are available.

Waveform generator

Together with connection to WaveForms Analog Discovery software, it can be used to output analog voltage signals via BNC or MTE signal connectors. It converts 14-bit samples of digital signals into analog signals at up to 100 MS/s on both channels. The device supports signals such as sine, triangle, sawtooth, and many others.

Voltmeter

Voltage measurements: direct current, rms value of alternating current, rms values for distorted waveforms.

Logic analyzer


In this mode of operation, digital inputs are configured to capture the high and low logic states of connected digital signals. It is also possible to decode the contents of data packets sent over popular communication protocols ( SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, I2S, parallel). It is also possible to import and export data using standard formats.

Data logger


Allows recording of large buffers of analog input data on two channels at a rate of up to 10 samples per second. Measurements possible: DC, AC, rms values for distorted waveforms along with average, minimum and maximum values.

Characteristics analyzer


Possibility to plot and analyze logarithmic frequency characteristics and amplitude-phase characteristics. Frequency sweep can be performed from 1MHz to 10MHz with a maximum of 10000 samples per decade.

Spectrum analyzer


This functionality allows viewing power in the frequency domain in the range of 0 - 50 Mhz of analog signals captured on analog input channels. Signals can be plotted in units of peak voltage, rms voltage and various units of voltage level ratio.
