Description
UMG 509-Pro is an electrical energy analyser that has a number of communication interfaces to facilitate integration with other equipment and software. The unit can measure a range of electrical network parameters such as: higher harmonics, unbalance, transients, voltage, current, active power, reactive power, etc. The large colour display generates accurate and clear graphs, so with the naked eye you can assess the network parameters in real time. Advanced alarming options significantly speed up the response time of those in charge of the infrastructure, reducing the overall time of any production downtime. It is also worth mentioning that the UMG 509-Pro has an input for monitoring leakage current (RCM), i.e. values below the tripping threshold of the current circuit breaker.
Power quality monitoring:
- Measurement of higher harmonics up to 63rd
- Recording of short disturbances
- Transient recording
- Generation of current and voltage waveforms on the display
- Non-balancing of current and voltage waveforms
- Non-balancing
- Generation of current and voltage angle diagram
Graphical programming language: examples
- Functionality of the PLC
- Programmability both in graphical language and from source code
- Functionality of the PLC.
- Highly expandable analyser functions
- Completion of applications from Janitzy libraries
User-friendly graphical display with intuitive interface:
- Intuitive interface, with user guidance
- Transparent representation of data in graphs, together with information on events
Modern communication methods via Ethernet:
- Ethernet interface with integrated web server
- Reliable, fast communication
- High flexibility thanks to the use of open standards
- Easy integration into the system
- Easy integration into PLCs, BMS systems thanks to additional interfaces
- Feature-free integration into PLCs, BMS systems thanks to additional interfaces
- Accessible model with BACnet support
- Access to 4 ports at the same time
- Support for universal IP protocols
Modbus gateway:
- The low-cost way to connect via Ethernet to Modbus RTU devices
- Data from the Modbus RTU protocol can be scaled and described
- Minimises the number of IP addresses in the network
Graphical programming language:
- Possibility to program the device in a graphical language (PLC function)
- Programming option also available directly from Jasic source code
- Easy extension of the analyser functionality
- Complete set of applications from the Janitz library
Advanced alerting options:
- Possibility to program the analyser using the Jasic language, either graphically or in text form.
- All the measured values can be displayed.
- All measured quantities can be used in writing scripts
- They can be freely processed mathematically,
- Individual alarming e.g. via e-mail, switching on/off of digital outputs, saving of Modbus addresses
- Watchdog
- More options for alarm management with GridVis-Service software
