Description

MiR250 autonomous mobile robot

A new standard of agility and efficiency in internal logistics

The MiR250 is a new generation autonomous mobile robot (AMR) that sets the standard for compactness and agility. It is designed for dynamic industrial environments where space is at a premium and the flow of goods must be smooth and uninterrupted. This model responds to a key market need: the automation of transport in narrow corridors and crowded production halls, where traditional, larger AGV solutions or forklifts often fail.

Design and reliability

MiR engineers designed the 250 model with an emphasis on durability and speed. The robot's compact design — 30 cm high in the basic version and 58 cm wide — allows it to drive deep under trolleys, shelves and racks, as well as move freely through standard 80 cm wide doors. Its robust housing and reinforced components make the MiR250 ready for demanding industrial environments, offering long life and resistance to daily use. This tool is designed for continuous operation – quick battery replacement and rapid charging ensure almost uninterrupted robot availability. .

Value for your business

Implementing MiR250 is a step towards intelligent logistics automation. The robot takes over repetitive, tiring and, from a production point of view, worthless transport tasks (from point A to point B). This allows your employees to focus on more complex and profitable processes. MiR250 moves autonomously without the need for magnetic tapes, markers or modifications to the production hall infrastructure – implementation is therefore fast, flexible and scalable, ensuring a quick return on investment (ROI).

Key technical parameters

Despite its compact size, the MiR250 offers impressive performance:

  • Load capacity: transport of loads up to 250 kg.Speed: maximum driving speed up to 2.0 m/s (7.2 km/h), making it one of the fastest robots in its class.

  • Working time: to 13 hours at full load or even 17.5 hours without load, with ultra-fast charging capability (10%-90% in less than an hour using a dedicated 48V charger).

Example applications

The versatility of MiR250 stems from its ease of integration with various upper modules. The robot is ideal for:

  • Transporting shelf modules (Shelf Carrier): picking up and putting down entire racks with goods.>Towing trolleys (MiR Hook): automatic coupling and towing of transport trolleys, cages or laundry baskets.

  • Just-in-time logistics: delivering components directly to assembly lines at the right time.

  • Clean rooms: a version suitable for use in clean rooms is available.p>

Intuitive software and fleet management

One of the biggest advantages of MiR robots is their user-friendly software. The robot is controlled via an intuitive web interface accessible on a smartphone, tablet or computer – no advanced programming knowledge is required. For larger implementations, the MiR Fleet software enables centralised management of the entire robot fleet. This system intelligently coordinates the movement of multiple units, manages task priorities, and automatically directs robots to charging stations when battery levels are low, ensuring optimal performance of the entire system.-end-549" data-path-to-node="16,3">.

Security and certification

Safety is a priority. The MiR250 has been designed in accordance with the most stringent safety standards for industrial robots (including ISO 3691-4 and ISO 13849-1). Equipped with a set of advanced sensors, including SICK nanoScan3 laser scanners with a full 360-degree field of view and 3D cameras, the robot detects people and obstacles in real time. If necessary, it dynamically changes its route or stops in a controlled manner, enabling safe collaboration in close proximity to employees and other machines.

Available product variants

The MiR250 robot is available in several configurations to suit the specific needs of your facility:

  • MiR250 Base Robot (base platform) – this is the basic version of the autonomous mobile robot, providing a universal platform for further expansion. The robot acts as a mobile foundation on which both dedicated MiR modules and your own customised builds designed for specific production or logistics processes can be installed.p>

  • MiR250 ESD Base Robot (antistatic version) – the basic version of the mobile robot, manufactured using technology that protects against electrostatic discharge (ESD, electrostatic discharge). It is the right choice for plants that manufacture or assemble sensitive electronics, where even a small electrostatic discharge can damage components.

  • MiR250 Shelf Carrier (for transporting shelves) – a version of the robot equipped with an active coupling module for the automatic transport of shelves and trolleys on wheels. The robot drives up to the shelf, attaches itself to it, transports it to a designated location and sets it down without the involvement of an employee.

  • MiR250 ESD Shelf Carrier (antistatic version for transporting shelves) is an antistatic version of a mobile robot with a module for transporting shelves. It has been designed for the safe transport of electronics, providing protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD).

  • MiR250 Hook (tugboat) – a variant of the robot equipped with a tow hook, designed for automatic pulling of transport trolleys. It works well wherever heavier loads need to be moved without involving manual labour.
