Description
EKI-7428G-4CI is a managed Layer 2 switch from Advantech featuring 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports on twisted pair and 4 Combo ports with removable SFP inserts. The device is dedicated strictly to 19" rack applications and operation in harsh industrial environments at temperatures from -40 to 70 °C. Due to its large number and variety of ports, it can be effectively used as the core of an industrial network or as an intermediate switch. It supports a number of Layer 2 features and protocols, such as X-Ring Pro, which provides redundancy and reconfiguration of the network as a ring in 20 ms, with 250 units connected. To make configurations quicker and easier, it introduces the IXM function that allows group changes to settings.
