RKS-G4028-L2

RKS-G4028 is a series of modular switches with built-in 4 ports 100/1000BaseSFP or 4 ports 10/100/1000BaseT(X), 3 inputs for Ethernet expansion modules, dual isolated power supply in the range of 24 VDC, 48 VDC or 110/220 VDC/VAC depending on the version. What's more, it supports IEEE 802.3bt PoE to power 90W devices, while it can operate in a wide temperature range of -40 to 75oC. The devices in this family are industrial Ethernet switches with the possibility of installing up to 28 Gigabit ports with different types of connectors in a modular form. The large number of available modules with 100Mbs, 1000Mbs, SFP, PoE ports gives the user great flexibility to choose the optimal configuration. Such a design significantly reduces the production cost of the device by which also reduces the price of the product itself. The equipment has been developed fully in accordance with IEC 62443-4-1, IEC 62443-4-2 industrial cyber security standards and high EMC immunity in accordance with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE1613. The device can be configured via a web browser, Telnet/serial console or CLI command line. In addition, the switches can use Trubo Ring and Turbo Chain protocols (regeneration time < 20 ms with 250 switches) and STP/RSTP/MSTP to build redundant networks, which makes the devices applicable to any industry branch. Advanced features available to the user allow (in addition to redundant connections Turbo Ring, RSTP, MSTP) port aggregation, advanced monitoring of operating status and construction of cyber-secure industrial networks. In addition to applications in the power industry, the switches additionally have compliance with EN 50121-4 railroad standards, which makes it a very versatile switch that can be used in a wide range of industrial systems.

The RKS-G4028 model with PoE functionality requires a 48 VDC power supply connected to a dedicated power input to ensure proper operation of the PoE feature. Before installation, make sure the power source meets these requirements.
