UR18 collaborative robot

The UR18 model is a revolutionary robot, created in response to changing market needs. It was designed specifically for applications where lifting capacity is paramount, to make them even more efficient. The result is a tool that is even faster and more efficient, allowing a multitude of demanding tasks to be completed in a short time.

It enables the automation of repetitive and dangerous tasks with a load of up to 18 kg. The robot arm has a reach of up to 950 mm and a repeatability of 0.05 mm. Thanks to its compact base flange, long reach and speed of up to 4 m/s, it can be implemented in fast pick & place applications where high performance is crucial. It is ideal for automating tedious tasks such as:

• Polishing and grinding
• Quality control
• Operation of CNC machines and injection moulding machines
• Soldering, gluing, painting

The UR18 cobot is easy to programme, quick to install and has a built-in safety system, making it a "friendly co-worker". It also offers a competitive advantage with the fastest return on investment in the industry.

The UR18 collaborative robot is equipped with, among other things, 16 digital I/Os, safety I/Os, analogue I/Os, encoders and a socket for communication using Modbus TCP, Profinet and Ethernet/IP protocols.

PolyScope X is a newer, 64-bit version of the system, characteristic of new-generation cobots. It is equipped with a greater number of advanced functions and smart skills. In addition, thanks to an improved interface, robot programming is even simpler.
