Description

The EKI-9510E-2GPS from Advantech is a high-performance 10-port unmanaged Ethernet switch designed for demanding applications in public transportation and industrial environments. This model includes 8 Fast Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE support (IEEE 802.3af/at), delivering up to 90W total power budget at 12/24VDC input.

Housed in a rugged IP67-rated enclosure with M12 connectors, the switch is resistant to dust, water, vibration, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C. The unit supports a wide input voltage range of 9–36VDC, with built-in reverse polarity and overcurrent protection, making it ideal for vehicle-based and outdoor deployments.

Certified to E-Mark, and UN ECE R10/R118 standards, the EKI-9510E-2GMPST is perfectly suited for use in railway systems, buses, and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems).

Additionally, the switch features “Power Ignition”, enabling automatic startup when the vehicle is turned on—eliminating manual intervention. The “Power Delay-Off” function provides up to 60 minutes of delayed shutdown after the engine is turned off, ensuring safe data storage and system closure for applications like video surveillance and onboard recording.
