AMAX-5570

AMAX-5570 / 5570E V2 are Advantech's advanced industrial controllers designed for IoT, automation and real-time control applications. The platform has been optimised at the system level to achieve deterministic response times of 1 ms with low jitter, ensuring stable and predictable performance even in demanding industrial applications.

The devices are based on the quad-core Intel Atom® x6414RE processor and offer a CODESYS environment that enables advanced control applications and integration with IT and OT systems. With support for protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus or EtherCAT, PROFINET and Ethernet/IP, the controllers can act as a central element in modern distributed automation systems and industrial IoT solutions.

AMAX-5570 / 5570E V2 provides high performance in motion control applications, enabling up to 32 axes with an EtherCAT cycle time of 500 µs in a Linux environment. This makes it ideal for machine control, robotics and applications requiring precise motion synchronisation.

The platform offers a wide range of expansion options via EtherCAT I/O modules, PCIe modules, iDAQ and an M.2 interface, allowing the system to be flexibly adapted to specific application requirements. In addition, optional NVRAM allows process data to be stored securely even in the event of a power outage, which is crucial in mission-critical systems.

Vast communication capabilities include Ethernet, USB, isolated COM and CAN interfaces and HDMI output, allowing integration with a wide range of devices and systems. The entire unit is encapsulated in a compact industrial enclosure suitable for DIN rail mounting and operation over a wide temperature range, ensuring reliability in harsh environments.
